That standard, GEIA-STD-0006: REQUIREMENTS FOR USING SOLDER DIP TO REPLACE THE FINISH ON ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, provides for a highly controlled robotic hot solder dip that replaces the tin only finish with a tin/lead finish.
