Meehan Electronics is an AS9100 certified cable assembly / wire harness supplier and component services provider. In essence, MEC’s business has two segments:
- Cable Assembly and Wire Harnesses: we are a build to print shop that will construct to your specs/drawings on a turn-key or consignment basis. We offer wire cutting, wire termination, wire marking, connector assembly, soldering and other related services. Box build, multiple breakout harnesses, or single leads are no problem. Most importantly, we will do one piece builds!
- Component Services: Hot Solder Dip of components (Tin Whisker Mitigation: including conversion from Tin only finishes to Tin/Lead or, put another way: converting ROHS components to make them usable for aerospace/military work), tape and reeling, lead forming, and part marking. MEC offers these services on either a turn-key or consignment basis.
We are also an insert injection molder, which allows us to offer molded assemblies. We offer a great line of Low Smoke, Zero Halogen cables that are perfect for aerospace and shipboard uses.
